Bandung conferences

Berdasarkan pengamatan saya, untuk tahun 2012 ini ada beberapa International conference yang diselenggarakan di Bandung dimana steering committee nya sebagian besar adalah orang-orang Malaysia. Hal ini tentu saja sangat menguntungkan kota Bandung karena secara tidak langsung Malaysia turut andil dalam mempromosikan kota Bandung di dunia internasional. Berikut adalah konferensi-konferensi yang dimaksud:

1. 2012 IEEE Symposium on Industrial Electronics and Applications  (ISIEA 2012): http://www.isiea.org/2012/

The 2012 IEEE Symposium on Industrial Electronics & Applications (ISIEA 2012) will be held in Bandung, Indonesia on 23 – 26 September 2012. The symposium will be organized to invite international delegates to the historical city of Bandung, the ultimate shopping and holiday paradise in Indonesia. You are invited to share your latest research findings besides getting to know Indonesia.

ISIEA 2012 is organized and sponsored by IEEE Malaysia Section, IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics, Industrial Electronics & Industrial Applications Joint Chapter. It is also co-organized by the Research Management Institute, Universiti Teknologi Mara. This proceeding will be indexed in IEEE Xplore and Scopus

2. 2012 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology and Applications (ISWTA 2012): http://www.mypels.org/iswta2012/

The 2012 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology & Applications will be held at Hyatt Regency Bandung Hotel, Bandung, Indonesia from the 23rd to the 26th of September 2012. The symposium will be organized to invite international delegates to share their latest research findings besides getting to know Indonesia.  ISWTA 2012 is  fully sponsored by IEEE  Malaysia Power Electronics, Industrial Electronics & Industrial Applications Joint Chapter and IEEE Malaysia Computer Chapter. It is co-organized by the Research Management Institute, Universiti Teknologi MARA. This proceeding will be indexed in IEEE Xplore.

3. 2012 IEEE Symposium on Busines, Engineering, and Industrial Applications (ISBEIA 2012): http://www.uitmrmi.org/isbeia2012/

The 2012 IEEE Symposium on Business, Engineering and Industrial Applications (ISBEIA2012) will be held in Bandung, Indonesia between 23 -26 September 2012. ISBEIA 2012 will be organized by IEEE Malaysia Section, IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics, Industrial Electronics & Industrial Applications Joint Chapter and co-organized by IEEE Indonesia. This proceeding will be indexed in IEEE Xplore and Scopus

Melihat tanggal penyelenggaraan konfensi-konferensi tersebut yang jatuhnya bersamaan yakni pada tanggal 23-26 September 2012, bisa dipastikan bahwa acara ini dilakukan ditempat yang sama secara paralel seperti yang mereka lakukan pada tahun 2011 lalu di Langkawi, Malaysia. Jumlah partisipan yang ikut dalam konferensi-konferensi tersebut tahun lalu cukup banyak dan berasal dari beberapa negara seperti Jepang, Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand, dan beberapa negara Eropa. Ini sebuah kesempatan bagus bagi para mahasiswa dan akademisi Indonesia karena International conference seperti ini sangat jarang diadakan di Indonesia terutama daerah Bandung. Tanpa membutuhkan biaya transport yang mahal bila dilakukan diluar Indonesia untuk sharing hasil-hasil penelitian kita dan diapresiasi masyarakat internasional. Tunggu apalagi? Ayo… segera daftar
